Brownie Chocolat. A chocolate brownie or simply a brownie is a square or rectangular chocolate baked confection. In a medium bowl, beat sugar, oil, eggs, and vanilla until light and fluffy.

In a small bowl, whisk flour, cocoa, baking powder, and salt; set aside.
Bring a medium sauce- pan of water to a simmer. Tastes great when warm and topped with a scoop of vanilla ice cream and drizzled with chocolate syrup. Brownies come in a variety of forms and may be either fudgy or cakey, depending on their density.
